What is a music box and why is it needed?
A box that plays music, and it will just be a way (likely) to select the in-game music that you hear in your player house. Right now, it only plays the music of the zone your house is in, but theoretically, this will allow you to play any zone's music in your house, or any in-game music.2 -

✭✭✭✭✭Yesterday I found a music box which was a stolen good item, thus useless. I was confused, because I didn't know such things exist in Elder Scrolls.
Having some music will bring more life into my home though
