a new story and other useful things like skillpoints, etc as well as a trial. Generally you will however want to go out into the base game as morrowind fits best after the base game story. The benefit of starting in morrowind is that you will get an extra skillpoint that will help you out early game

but does the steam copy include the same stuff as the crown store purchase?
or is it just the explore vvardenfell which i think i already have access too
i would kinda like to try the warden class, and steam purchase is only $12 if it comes with it opposed to $40 through the crown store
Halls of Fabrication is a trial in Vvardenfell, it is included, the other two in there are the main quest lines in Vvardenfell so they are included as well.
What is not included is Warden in either, as that is a separate purchase in crown store now.

so i already have access to this content then with my tamrial unlimited purchase i made in 2016 ?
um, its better to buy eso on the official site as steam is unreliable. Idrk if morrowind contains warden at this time, maybe?

I bought one copy through ESO, one copy through Steam and it was the "extras" that were the difference; mount, style converter - that kind of thing. Both have warden, both had battlegrounds (before it was base gamed), both now have new characters starting in Morrowind (kinda weird - but now Summerset changes that).

no, alternately you can access vvardenfell with eso plus but you would need to buy warden separately
The standard version whether purchased via eso store or steam currently includes the morrowind chapter with warden class. If you currently have the base game via steam then buying SE from eso store will add morrowind and free you from the need to log in via steam. It should work the other way around to get morrowind but I have not verified this.
