Lighting Power Creep and Furnishing Revision

Has anyone been rather pleasantly surprised by just how much more recent furnishings radiate? Alinor candles give off a ton more light than Breton candles, for example.

I noticed today when I was going through the new werewolf dungeon in Colovian architecture that the lamps give off tremendous light! (Side note: I really hope they add these Imperial Colovian lights to the game soon!!).

What I'm wondering is perhaps ZOS needs to look back at old light furnishings and perhaps amp up the light they radiate. I probably spend an unhealthy 1/5 of my house on just lighting when I try to do a Breton or Redguard abode and want to stick to the style. I could accomplish it a lot easier by dropping it and just going for Alinor light sources since they give off so much more light but this won't suit the themes.

I really hope they revise old light furnishings to make them match up to the light power creep we are experiencing.

I had noticed that my Alinor inn room and townhouse seem brighter, but I had chalked that up to the light-colored stone and shiny wood that reflects more. I haven't tried putting Alinor lights in any of my other homes to compare.

I, too, spend too much of my housing slots on lighting. I've gone through some of my homes and reduced the lights where possible so I could add in other details.
