Technically, Rube Golberg machines are viable too.

Yes, you could go through an absurdly complex setup to make this work, if you're really that inclined to avoid the actual main content.

In either case, there are plenty of ways to get there. I suppose that's the important takeaway.

Despite your condescending attitude it's not absurdly complex at all. If you have a second account it's incredibly simple, and very handy if you feel like leveling Undaunted on a character at a time when your friends aren't online & you don't feel like dealing with PUGs. It's also great on a newer character who hasn't done many delves, as you'll get a ton of XP and a bunch of skyshards, while earning Undaunted reputation, and farming for Draugr motif pages.

Saw a guy in zone chat last night suggesting someone mark himself as a tank to queue faster. I IMMEDIATELY replied "fake tank -> vote to kick" which triggered him. Good.

Right now, I have an Orc Warden spec'd as a tank. Did a couple of HM pledges yesterday. What I find to be the easiest thing to do is to spec a DD as either a tank or healer, and basically park him at the Undaunted enclave, doing nothing but pledges. I hate questing while spec'd as a tank because everything takes 4X longer.

The other option, if you have enough skill points, is to just carry two sets of armor. Your CP allocation will be sub-optimal, but you can easily breeze through most content.

I already agreed it can be done this way, if someone so chooses. It's even right in with the timeframe I previously mentioned, likely around 18 hours via your method over 9 days, simply because of travel time and load screens.

I would say if you're inclined to do this method, simply advancing it casually along with other dailies, as @runagate mentions is the easier way to go.

But again, if you wish to take the extra steps to do it this way, it will certainly work. You're still trading a layer of complexity for the ability to advance this solo.

Both have the same end result. Pick your poison, so to speak.

    Just some thoughts. . .

I've leveled up several to Undaunted 9 by all or mostly daily delve quests. It is not an either / or thing. If they are leveling undaunted, they do an undaunted daily delve. Sometimes I can share with others and get two or three daily delves. And sometimes, I can grab a normal pledge with friends to boost things along. Not comfortable soloing normal pledges on young, growing chars (can do some of them on my higher chars). Also not comfortable with dungeon finder while leveling up. Dps queue times are too long. I take the role of healer/tank very seriously and don't advertise myself as one until I'm pretty adept at it (not while trying to level up).

I enjoy pugging normals on my top level healer because she can respond to anything (poor dps, fake tank, etc) and is able to happily react to whatever she gets. Though she could solo most normal group dungeons she prefers to do her role - heal/support others.

I don't really enjoy pugging normals on my top level DK tank. A tank wants players that will follow their lead and wait for them to initially pull and gather foes into a tight killing zone. My tank doesn't like to 'react' like my healer, rather to lead and control the fights. Pugs are like herding cats so not fun for my tank.

Go and que for every vet dungeon that character hasn’t completed yet on your achievements, you get undaunted xp and skill points for each dungeon. Que for each one you haven’t done all at the same time. The quest will pop pretty quick that way

Shhh! Dont let the secret out! I've leveled undaunted on every one of my characters by making them a tank first. Pretty simple if you have experience tanking, just level s+b a bit as well while getting to 50, swap your tank gear over to your new character and get grinding.
