VMA frigid waters on ice stage?

i am new to VMA. but i have died 10 times in the row when i am on the ice platforms to frigid waters? how am i dying if i am not in the water?

To my knowledge, you definitely shouldn't be taking damage from the water itself while on the platforms, and I'm assuming they're not being shattered by the giantess or trolls.

Anything else you could tell us?

If you're on the final boss of that stage, he smashes the platform he is on at 75% health, and then again at 50%. So when you see him at those hit points, run to another platform very quickly.

its bugged like hell i am checking every single time, just stood on a different platform for 6-7 seconds than the boss and took 27k frigid waters

Probably lag it's been horrendous in VMA today. Died so many times from from things that were delayed on screen. Try logging out and back in

I give up just now back to back i was on the platform for a while and took 37k and 20k frigid waters on a platform.

finally just got it done but man it was like i was standing in water the entire time when i wasnt, the fight wasnt too bad. just have no clue why i kept taking frigid water damage when i became really conscious of it after that was happening. If anybody knows anything let me know that i maybe missing with the fight. I switched my build to get it done

That just sounds like lag. Vma seems to get more laggy the longer you spend time within the instance.

The worst time to run vma is during the wrothgar event. There tends to be so many people running instances of VMA that the server performance tanks for all of them.

Ok thanks man. that is probably what was happening and being on console doesnt help at all either. I was so frustrated cause i was standing on the platforms for a while sometimes fighting and next thing i know i instantly die and my recap is over 20k frigid waters. I dont mind wiping at all but i knew i wasnt in the waters so many times i died lol

The instance lags and gets confused the longer you are in it, and the more you run a particular stage. I ran stage 6 so many times straight that the spider swarm wasn't spawning, her sidekick never spawned, and the obelisks were all dewebbed, therefore i had no idea which ones to de-web.

Just take a break. I'm waiting to finish vMA until after this event, personally.
