Is there a limit to the number of people that can have the Robes of Transmutation buff per user?

Major Courage sets (spc/olorime) have a limit of 6, but does Transmutation have a limit?

I thought it didn't because I swear I've given the buff to well over 6 people, but I'm seeing some information saying it's limited and want to confirm.

I know I can test with my guild at some point. I was just asking so that we can get the knowledge out there for future inquirers. Thanks!

It's my understanding it has no cap, except the player must be healed with a heal over time ability (correct me if I'm wrong).

That means it isn't going to proc on full health and the ability must heal and it must be a heal over time applied to an ally.

Which means outside of Templar/NB/mutagen spam, not everyone can run it without running specific spells.

Therefore those conditions result in a balanced set that requires no player cap.

I run this set on my healer and I honestly can't tell you if it only affects 6, 12, or unlimited targets. Though even if the cap is at 6 people the next tick of a HoT will affect 6 more targets. Since it lasts for 20 seconds only Extended Ritual, Blood Altar, Force Siphon, Mutagen, Reviving Barrier, and Green Lotus will have a chance to proc on the same target more than once from a single HoT cast. Since they all last 20 seconds there may be another 20+ second HoT, but I can't remember it off the top of my head at the moment.

Thank you! I thought there wasn't a limit but wanted to confirm.

As for Olorime I guess I will have to test it again. Last time I used it in PvP I was in a group of about 12. I had everyone step in the circle, and we only had half the group that received the buff.
