Turn on/off combat music? Can we get this please?

Don't get me wrong, the combat music can be great sometimes, but when you're just trying to enjoy the game's exploration aspect and keep hearing the music switch back and forth every 10 seconds cause of some random mudcrab it can ruin the entire atmosphere. Especially with some songs that have a build up.

I like the music though, I just don't like how it keeps switching between combat and ambient.

This addon doesn't work anymore. I wouldn't have asked otherwise unless some knowledgeable soul can update the LUA/API

This addon doesn't work anymore. I wouldn't have asked otherwise unless some knowledgeable soul can update the LUA/API

Open HarvensInCombatAudioVolume.txt, then change APIVersion: 100020 to APIVersion: 100023

That should do it!

You're welcome. In general, this works for updating many addons, unless they are complex and need more tweaking than that. If so, the LUA error you'll get when loading the game will let you know.

This is a good temporary fix, but the devs should really add the option to remove the combat music only. These addons mute everything during combat. The regular in-game music shouldn't have to be muted.
