Outfit Station - Crafting Motif: Pact Style

BiggShooter
I purchased the Crown Crafting Motif: Pact Style from the Crown Store. When I chose to "dress" my character in the Pact Style Motif, (armor and weapons), I had to pay GOLD to make the change at an Outfit Station. Not a big deal however, I just noticed that after paying gold to change from a Sword to an Axe, I have to pay gold AGAIN if I want to change back to a Sword! I thought / figured that since I already paid gold for the Sword, I wouldn't 'need to pay gold again to change back from the Axe to the Sword.

I"m guessing that any time you make a change at the Outfit Station, no matter the case, it's going to cost you gold. BTW, I purchased the Imperial Edition of Elder Scrolls Online and didn't have to pay gold to change my look to Imperial..........

I really think that once you pay gold to make a change, you shouldn't have to pay gold to go back to a previous outfit.......just my two cents.

Just wait until you re-dress in one of the newer DLC motifs. You can easily drop 100,000g (outfit style + dyes).

If you want when you are in the Outfit Station menu you can choose the 'no outfit' option and there is not a gold cost if you are an ESO+ member. It'll dye your gear but won't let you transmogrify the look to another style/motif.

There's no ESO+ anything with the outfit system. ESO+ is costume/hat dyes only.

Slotted armor in its default (dropped or crafted) style can be dyed for free by anyone without using an outfit slot.
Slotted weapons in default or outfitted style can be dyed for gold by anyone in the outfit system using an outfit slot.

Imperial and Morag Tong styles, if acquired by account upgrade, do not have a gold cost at the outfit station. This replaces the convert gear option that existed prior to the outfit system.

Sadly there is a bug at the moment that keeps putting your outfit back over your standard set every time you go anywhere (load anywhere or access a bag) and Zos has no interest in fixing it..

Been months now.. So once you make an outfit you are stuck with it unless you pay to remove it again..
