Is anyone else finding the CC unreliable? I know many refuse to use this skill, so perhaps there is something I'm not aware of with it? I just know this is sort of my only option for a stun/gap closer as a templar. The skill states:
Charge with your divine lance to impale an enemy, dealing 537 Magic Damage and stuning them for 1.5 seconds.
If the enemy hit is casting, they are interrupted and set off balance for 5 seconds.
Always stuns the enemy, regardless if they are casting. Also sets them off balance if they are casting.
The issue I have noticed recently within the past three weeks or so is that often (not always) when I use this skill from nearly max range, the animation will show me "making contact" with the target, but from a slight space away, and then not stunning the target. The first time I experienced this was with the ice trolls in stage 5 of VMA, so it was VERY noticeable when the stun did not go off as the troll continued to pound on the island. I noticed this again on final boss during his channeled attack. It happened several times in PVP last night as well.
The mobs are not evading the stun and are not CC immune, so I know that not to be a problem, and even in PVP my ping is usually quite good.
Will update later with a video of this and will file a report if my experience does not seem to be isolated.
