Pet Magsorc LF advice

I'm currently running (more or less) the alcast pet sorcerer build.
Gear: siroria (imperfect), necropotence and ilambris, one lightning and one inferno staves. Armor and jewelry are purple, armor is all divines cept head and chest which are infused. Staves are golden, infused. No maelstorm staff yet, since I haven't been able to complete vMA yet, let alone farm it (to my defense: I'm trying ). Vampire for additional magicka regen, wood elf for... no useful passives. 430CP. Mage mundus.
With food and ultimate, but no potions, I reach 22k dps on dummy. I have checked my parse and apparently the most of my damage comes from the scamp pet, followed closely by liquid lightning (sometimes it's the other way around) and then by either blockade or heavy attacks. Ilambris often doesn't seem to reach 1k dps. Is it normal or am doing something wrong? Is it the same for the other monster sets as well? What can I do to improve my damage?

I prefer high magic pool on my pet build. Pets and shields scale with max pool. Also light and heavys scale better with max pool than they did before.

There are a few ways to get there. I run a 62k magic pool . Works for me.

I run maw monster or valkin. Depends on my mood.

So
Valkin monsterset.

Necro
2 willpower rings.
1 ancient grace neck
Front bar and back bar lightining staffs ancient grace.
Back in nirn.
Front is infused shock.

Bound armaments give 8% max magica and mage guild skill gives 7%

the mage guild ulti give 2% spell damage .. but u can run the desteo ulti for a destro bonus.... front bar. And run atronoch off the back bar.

The destro ulti ticks for 10k tool tip stuff just melts

Obviously u can ha e 4 pets up with this set up. And the twilight has great burst heal.

Overland mobs
: you will not get thru any kind of full rotation before everything is dead.


Mechanical acuity has the most burst. I have not run it since the nerf tho.

Valkyn procs pretty consistently and you don't have to worry about it hitting the target like with maw.

Probably around 2-3k on most builds.

And do you mean 4 pet with maw instead of valkyn?

Probably. I personally run mad tinkerer as well, so I can have up to 5 pets up at once. Mad tinkerer is better then most people think, especially on a magsorc, I have had it hit for around 18k, in four person stuff, pretty consistently as well, like off cooldown. Loads of fun too, seeing the mobs flying.

I tried it, since I already have those pieces, and it gives me only about 1k, same as Ilmabris. Should it be proccing more? Am I doing something wrong?
