Extended Server Maintenance in the middle of an event?

ZOS, while your overlapping events are ill-planned, holding a 7+ hour (and still going) maintenance without any communication of it's expected duration is why this forum community is so caustic. How about some answers on expected downtime???

This maintenance isn't held by ZOS, this is a datacenter one.

So you are saying they have no clue on downtime themselves and cannot use this time to communicate with us?

    LOL

Proper and timely communication between the company and it's customer base should be a priority.

They could still communicate that they also don't know. Nobody likes being treated like a mushroom.

why not do the US server maintainence during US night time and EU server maintainence during EU night time?
Yes I know about time zones, but you autta find a time where the least people are online for each of the servers. Doing EU server maintainence according to the US clock is a bit insulting.
Say NO to Crown Crates. Crown Crates are Loot Boxes. Loot Boxes are gambling. Zenimax makes enough money off us.
ESO+ is part of the "Games as a service" trend. A trend that needs to die. Subscribe only when you need Crowns for DLC.
Say no to "radiant" junk quests replacing proper side content and the dumbing down of our favorite franchises.
    PCMR EU.

From the lack of communication, it should be insulting to everyone......

If it’s data center....maybe the lag will be fixed finally!! Crank those servers to 11. Removing a lot of the in game extras will help a lot...you know when you get feared through a wall or glitch outside the map and there is all that wasted space out there! Yeah get rid of it @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom

Cos looks like they don't care about EU playerbase on this matter.

You should try living in Aus, where we don't have our own servers, so all maintenance is prime time maintenance – down late afternoon and all evening.

It’s completely understandable (and a miracle) if they’re working on the stability issues. If like usual it’s a lot of nothing, then we can riot.

I agree, however it seems there aren't any European (or Australian...) English-speaking CM (at least officially).
