If the Excorsized cottage is coming back this year, I plan on getting it, along with the witches and scarecrow furnishing packs currently on the PTS. I like the idea of creating a halloween/witches festival themed house with scarecrows, jack o lanterns and everything.

I would also like to request more of these seasonal/holiday houses, especially of the large/medium category, which is actually furnishable, and not like the huge empty manors.

How about a New Life festival house. Could be a snowy cottage somewhere in Skyrim, complete with a small outdoor garden area and indoor area to make a nice midwinter fire and a yule banquet. Make a furniture pack with some special New Life ornaments and decorations as well.

Jester's Festival have gotten a few pieces of furniture as well, like the boxes, the flags and the pavallion. A small outdoor area with lots of room for cherry trees and a festive jester's pavallion and some special, funny furniture in a furniture pack would be excellent as well.

Support that...Also hoping for the cottage to come back to the game!

I remember some Dev mentioning that they liked the idea of a ice palance, so unfortunately I think we will finally get the snow setting only in another huge manor....

The cottage is a good size. Holiday or seasonal homes shouldn't be too large. I don't want to waste 20k Crowns just for a huge holiday manor and a ton of stuff to put inside it.

But we'll see, if they make them too large or impossible to decorate, I'll just pass on them.

I like the two new furnishing packs on the PTS, lots of unique halloween themed items, but unless we get the coven cottage back as well, I'm not gonna buy them =p

I dream about small snow/ice themed houses since Homestead was released...

I totally agree with both this and your original idea. The cottage was probably one of the best housing efforts they ever made. Good size, attainable with in game effort and a reasonable amount of gold (or crowns if that's how you roll).

I saw requests for this last year when the cottage was released. I was really hoping and half expecting there to be a winter home available during last year's New Life Festival. Hopefully, they'll listen to us and give us one this year.

And, hopefully, the cottage will make a return, as well. I got it last year, but I hope it's a seasonal offering so that new players and old players alike can get it.

ETA: And like you, I'd like it to be a medium-size home (large is ok, but medium would make it more cozy - and more affordable for most players since it would only be available during the holiday season).

I'm tired of all the crown homes being these gigantic, $150 mansions that are basically impossible to furnish. Out of all my homes, Bouldertree Refuge is my favorite for a reason. Not small, not too large, and more than enough space to decorate how I want without having huge patches of emptiness.
I play this game a little bit I guess

The nice thing was the cottage could be bought with Gold as well as crowns....just like the coldharbour land mass.

Yes, which is why I'd like for any future holiday homes to be medium-size, this would make them affordable for most players as they'd be available for gold after completing an achievement. I think that $250k, which was around the price for the cottage, is more affordable for more players than a large home at around $1M.

ETA: A small-size holiday home would be fine, too. I could see that being a nice size for a snug winter cottage, though a medium home would give more outdoor area.

I'm with you there. I've only purchased one LT home, and that was Tel Galen. It was 8k unfurnished/10k furnished. It's actually more the size of a large home, but has 700 slots. Haven't been interested in any of the larger ones due to cost and slot limitations.
