Trove Scamp bugged Mayhem festival

Killed several Trove scamps in the last few hours and didn't receive the achievement.

Hi all,

We just pushed a hotfix for this issue on all servers. You should be able to complete the Scamp of Mayhem achievement now.

Thanks but the hotfix would of been unnecessary if you had competent staff testing this before releasing it to LIVE.


Your under the wrong impression of players paying for the game and spending their hobby time in documenting and feeding you step by step what your doing wrong.

Are we supposed to get double tell var drops during MYM? Currently tell var is dropping from mobs/bosses in IC at the same rate

No, telvar drops as normal in the sewers during the Midyear Mayhem event. You do however get rewarded telvar in the boon boxes that you receive for completing the daily quests associated with PVP.

Yep, what @FreshlyB8ked stated is correct (thanks!). Only AP and XP for PvP player-character kills are doubled during the Midyear Mayhem event, not Tel Var Stone drops.

The whole game is bugged to death. pvp is Just riding inbetween castle just to crash once you get inside then spend 10 minutes trying to relog. Please fix pvp before releasing dlc that will smash the game even more

I can be disagreeable, but even I won't complain about a bug they hotfix immediately.

My point stands as constructive criticism and is quite logical. After 3 years of witnessing the most simple things go untested i cannot fathom how simple things like this goes unchecked.


Additionally, it is good a hotfix was pushed out but was needless if someone actually tested the achievements were triggering as they should.

Could you also fix the scamp portal bug in the first AD room? Unlike all other scamps, it does not do its path from portal to portal but just runs to one portal to despawn immediately. It is exactly the bug that was mentioned in the first posting of this thread and has been in the game for probably since IC launched:

Actually, you don't.

I was in a group with another player and we both got the achievement from a single Trove Scamp.

My guess is OP doesn't know what a Trove Scamp is, or where to find one.

Also... there are "cousins" of Trove Scamps called Cunning Scamps that don't award the achievement.

I also ran into a Trove scamp bug, after the hotfix. The kill unlocked the trove scamp achievement related to Imperial City, but not the one related to the Midyear Mayhem event.
