Best Overall Stamblade DPS race, for PvP and PvE?

flyingturtles92
So, I'm sure a couple of you have already answered some of my threads, but the information I've received has either been mixed or inconclusive, really. I want to make my first character as a Stamblade DPS, using him for both PvE and PvP, respeccing between gank builds, sustain builds, and burst builds when I see appropriate. I would like to know the value of the stealthy passive and its usefulness in PvP. I also want my character to look good, and currently Redguard is the best at that, but lacks the stealthy passive which I am hung up over. Anyways, between Khajiit, Redguard, and Bosmer (and I think Bosmer are ugly), which race is best for all around PvP, PvE, and all builds in between? I want to do ALL content on this character.

Bonus: Can redguards make good gankblades?

Just my opinion. But I like my Bosmer for stealth with a bow. Very good sustain. And Bosmer women can be very pretty and doe eyed, you must be talking about the men.
Redguard might be better for an aggressive melee stamblade.
But khajits unique passive gets nerfed by crit resistance from cp and impenetrable armour.

if you newcomers and use sneak bow 24/7 on pvp , use bosmer.
i saw so many new player always sneak spam snipe and other bow skill.

If you are doing just PvP, then go Khajiit, Bosmer, or even Orc. But stealth doesn’t matter in PVE at all. Redguard is the best Stam race in pve due to superior sustain to any other race unless you are going with very high Stam recovery (which you should never do for pve). So theoretically, they also have good enough sustain in Pvp. Bosmer is the best sustain race in PvP. Redguard is good to go if you plan on doing both.

    TLDR; PVE = Redgaurd
    PvP = Bosmer or Khajiit

I use mine in both and have no sustain issues in pve

Though you can’t go wrong with redguard either, they just weren’t for me

I am biased. I see Khajiit I click Khajiit.

But really, I would suggest making a char of each race and trying them all out one by one. Start with the one you personally prefer, and then try the others to see if you can feel any difference. Most people can usually feel pretty quickly (within the first 10-15 lvls) whether it's the right fit for them.

Khajiits are the second best gankers, and the second best stam DPS race. If you want a good race for both I'd go with Khajiits.

Harder than a Khajit/Bosmer that is in stealth?

My personal favorite Stamblade right now is my Orc. She's more oriented towards PvP, but I like the Orc passives for the sprint speed/cost reduction, 4% melee damage increase, and both health and stamina increase. She's a 2H/DW Bleed build that I'm trying to center around the movement bonuses of Orcs.

Can anyone comment on how redguards do as gankblades in PvP? Is the stealthy passive really all that necessary?

I dont see why they would be bad. You use the skill cloak to stealth, not so much sneak. And as soon a you hit someone you are revealed anyway, then you need to use cloak again to become invisible again.
I could only see sneak being useful if you are trying to run away. Cloak turn a corner then crouch sneak.
Stage 4 vampirism allows you to sneak with the same speed as walking. I would think that is more useful than the stealthy passive.
But being a stage 4 vampire will make any character look ugly.

I just started a new StamBlade main, because the Mag version of my melee MagBlade had some real holes in it that I couldn't seem to adapt to.

I was wanting specifically to build around Troll King and bleeds, and an Orc seemed the perfect choice.

Do y'all think that the synergies between Orc health regen/healing received make Troll King any more effective (in practice) than it would be on another race?

And does the Swift Warrior passive affect Surprise Attack, Killer's Blade, and Ambush?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

The passive also provides a damage boost.

Btw guys Khajiit has no innate increase to base stamina pool which makes it worse than Redguard and Bosmer...especially since everyone runs Impenetrable in PvP.

    Therefore:
    PvE: Redguard
    PvP: Bosmer

I would say you can pick either one though if I'm being honest.
