Why has this not been implemented yet?!

Once you pick a faction for a campaign you should not be able to switch to another faction until the campaign has ended.

It was removed when Thieves Guild DLC was added to the game. Personally I would love to see one campaign(current or added) that was faction locked.

The cross faction players rumored that they cannot play on one campaign on different factions with 2 different characters.

There's a plethora of threads already discussing this. This feature used to exist, it was removed for the best. Sorry mate.

My personal opinion.

Should there be faction loyalty incentive? Yes 100%

Should there be enforced faction locks? Absolutely not, it was bad in the past and it'd be even worse now with population levels being so fickle.

I wish Faction locks were a thing.

Why?

I know about 20 DC players that switch to EP when DC is losing.

It really *** sucks to see people who were just helping you defend Aleswell, assault your scroll. it is demoralizing.

Another issue I have come across, is seeing weird *** happen while trying to retrieve a stolen scroll. People who were on AD characters preventing us DC from getting a scroll back from EP, would log onto EP characters after we failed.

I honestly don't get it, But I feel as though the DC on Vivec PC REALLY want a faction locked campaign. Our number 1 complaint as a faction, the most complained thing I hear in zone chat is: Look at all those DC @names attacking us who were just helping us.

It is a rampant problem. There needs to be a 2-10 hour Cooldown to switching alliances. or better loyalty rewards.

I think this is a ridiculous request. All you need to do to even the odds is actually run a good group. 99 percent of the players in Cyro are trash and will get steam rolled by an organized and real PVP guild.

Sadly, because ESO Cyro plays like an FPS - no death penalties incentivizing a reason to work like an efficient team - you won't get good leadership in the random crowns.

Random crowns that run around all day on PS4 Vivec are straight garbo leaders. They love to tell everyone how great they are but they'd get smashed by any competent guild master from a game like EVE Online, Lineage2, WAR, etc. list goes on and on.

Wish NA game makers would stop following World of Warcraft game design that made things incredibly easy for any player to just become a zergling and insert their opinion into PVP discussion / politics without having to put any real skin in the game.

The faction swapping is reaching absurd levels. It’s a PvP event and people can’t seem to resist logging alts on same campaign, same day 1 of event on PC NA. I’m not advocating taking it away, but it sure would be nice to have one 7-day campaign available with faction lock enabled for the duration for those of us that would prefer it.

Yeah, and during off hours when not many are on you have no choice to play with who ever is on. This is not gonna work for everyone at all times.

Players are trash, don't know how to group, leaders are trash; whatever you say Mr. elite dude. Now, why is this a ridiculous request? You didn't elaborate at all on that.

I totally agree with this^^ Never played WoW and was a guild leader in shadowbane razing player cities and losing equipment on my corpse upon death.

...that made things incredibly easy for any player to just become a zergling and insert their opinion into PVP discussion / politics without having to put any real skin in the game.

...or incredibly easy to just run with a group across any faction during the same campaign window and "farm" low-skill or un/under-geared casual players and also log into enemy zone chats and troll/start fake groups etc.
