Dizzying swing in PvP

The animation for Dizzying Swing in PvP takes forever, it seems like. I play a Stam DK so I usually apply my DOTS (Poison Injection & Venomous Claw) then go for Dizzying Swing but they usually just dodge roll by the time the animation finishes.
Anyone have any tips for this? Not to mention Sorcs that are impossible to target because they get behind me so quickly due to their mobility, which cancels the animation. Thinking of switching back to Dual Wield.

✭✭✭✭✭Like any skill, Dizzying Swing just takes practice to get better, @griffkhalifa.
It's up to you as to whether you want to keep it on your skill bar or not.
But you're right ... most skilled PvP players can see it coming.1 -
Caleb_Kadesh✭✭✭Look for stunned or rooted players. Start the skill as you are approaching. Look for distracted players. (being attacked by or attacking others)
Experience will teach you what works and what doesn't. It is easier in group settings where you can get lost in the confusion.
I rarely get one off until my opponent is low or out of stamina in a duel.1
