But as @Phage said, most just want to do their own thing and disregard any advice. I've even had new players who ask for advice and completely ignore what was told to them because it wasn't what they wanted to hear.

We were all noobs once even though some don't like to admit it. I just like helping them learn what I wish I knew when I was new. Help them out with gear, food, crafting intel, etc.

I'm not complaining people play how they want, I'm saying end game simply needs more players, which is true. People by all means need to play the way they feel is fun as long as it doesn't hinder someone else (such as feeling entitled to waste someone's time by light attack spamming through a vet DLC).
But we need more newbies that stay, regardless of how they want to play. Almost all newbies I meet and make training gear for stay for maybe a week and don't even hit cp level.
