Do both bar's weapons count to Sets now?

I couldn't help but notice when going through my inventory I happen to have Julianos reading as 7/5. I expected 6/5 because I had an extra armor piece on just to fill the space temporarily - but looking at it, I have 5 armors - and 2 Julianos staffs. My other set is 5/5 so at the very least, the UI is counting both staffs.

Are they actually counting though, or is this the UI trolling me? I've been on hiatus since Morrowind so if something changed I didn't see the natch potes about it.

Does this mean I can finally do a 5/5/2 build on this character?

Staves and other two handed weapons now count as 2 set pieces instead of one. And yes 5/5/2 is now a thing for Magicka builds

Oh thank the Divines, this is the best news I've heard in a while. I can finally fine tune my Magicka builds how I want them.

Magicka characters can now wear 5/5/2 as staves now count as 2 set piece bonuses. so if you have 3 body pieces and a staff it will be a full set. but if your other staff is different you wont get the bonus on that bar.

Works good for me because both staffs are carbon copies of eachother, now I just have to pony up some gold mats and find a good monster set to put in place and I'll be golden, literally.
