This is a lovely house, but it is in DESPERATE need of an item limit increase, perhaps more than any house yet!

Nonetheless, this is my best attempt to decorate it with the limit available

And i also advocate more housing slots. 700 cap on an instanced space where people pay a lot of money to decorate is brain dead and does nothing to promote the sale of these houses or meaningful customisation.

I loved all the little touches! Can only imagine what it would look like if you had those extra slots at your disposal. Looks great, nice work!

A slight criticism, you seem more interested in showing your character off than showing the house. The viewing would have been better in fps mode.

Thank you very much for the feedback! Constructive criticism is always welcomed! I used to record in first person, but at some point I changed it because in my mind, I thought that it could potentially show things like scale of items and how they fit into a space a little better, and to bring a bit of life into the place in a way, but I shall certainly take your comment on board, and perhaps try to record in first person again next time to compare

Wow, beautiful! It feels very lonely, but at least you have some doggies to keep you company!

They keep putting out these giant mansions with not nearly enough slots to furnish them. I hope they give us more smaller houses like the hag fen cottage, which has about the right number of slots for the size.

700 Item limit is ridiculously low.

For 700 pts with Forsaken Stronghold I have 1 room finished, 2 rooms half finished, outside a quarter finished.

I pretty much stopped spending RL money on housing at that point.

Nicely done though.

You always do a great job on all your houses. Where do you find time to do 700 item docorations on all of these?! I'm still working on my Pariah's Pinnacle from back in December. LOL.

BUT YES we desperately need a higher furniture cap !
700 for houses like this or the Colossal Aldmeri Grotto is just not enough to even barely scratch the potential these homes offer !
After finishing my Druglords Den in the Aldmeri Grotto ,i am pleased with what i have made there … but i still feel like its so far away from being complete … Thanks again for the visit and the nice Feedback btw
Having actually build on like 30-40% of the complete space, hitting the cap and still have to make compromises in Areas i tryed to cover that just feel empty in between the main construction Areas just doesnt feel right.
I love the housing in this game - its what i do most and enjoy a lot but it can be really frustrating at times with all the limitations.

The Grotto is amazing and i am happy i got it - and this home looks amazing too - but they really need to raise the Cap on Homes of that size or Notables in general to at least 1000 or even 1400. They come with a big pricetag and we should really be able to make em look like that too xD or at least be able to not have to look at soooo much empty spaces after we managed to somehow finish a Project there.

Yes! The Hag Fen Cottage was amazing! I really loved that one! And it was a great size for the limit

I know! Even some of the larger older homes are too big for the limit! I even mentioned this when the entire housing system was on pts, and all of this time later, no change in limit, and we also now have houses which make the old ones look tiny. I really hope that it is being looked into at least!

Thank you very much! Well, this is on pts, so we get all of the items for free! It took me longer to decorate the ones I have on live. Plus, I suppose that after about 100 videos of decorating the houses in ESO it has become a little bit like second nature

Most definitely! You paid for your house, and you deserve to decorate it how you please, and not have to make sacrifices. I realise we cannot have unlimited items, but for homes that size, 700 does not cut it. Not even closely.

Somebody made a great suggestion, which I think is the best so far actually, that perhaps ZOS could have separate item limits for different areas of the home. So for big houses like this, 700 for the house, 700 for the garden, or for big caves, or your amazing grotto, different limits for each of the different areas. I'm not sure how that would work, but I thought it was a great idea

Thank you! I'm sorry but I'm not really sure... It does seem darker or lighter at times but I'm not sure it has a typical day and night cycle like other places do. Maybe somebody else might know the answer to that?? I shall definitely be looking out next time I am there though!

I liked the idea of kitchen / bathroom sinks, how you combined the fountain with the bowls.

A suggestion - try to replace the planters for the trees you put on the upper levels with larger ones (there are larger bulkier Alinor planters). The trunk of the tree is to thick for its roots to have any room in that small planter.

One question - there was a door blocked by a divider, what is behind that door?

There is an area identical to the one I placed the kitchen and bedroom through the other door. I didn’t have enough item slots to be able to decorate both areas

I currently have Linchal Manor, and if the price is right I'll upgrade to the Psijic Villa. I suspect they'll jack the price up, though, in which case I will have to decline. The item limit is a real detriment to large homes like this, and I can't justify spending too much cash on something I already know I won't be able to adequately decorate.

You, however, did a phenomenal job doing as much as humanly possible with the limit.

Please can it not cost £70-80 please, looks an epic house but online housing for a game should not cost that much.
