So I was doing Trials and Dungeons and my group and I noticed a....trend. It seems that whenever there's a new dungeon or Trial, ZoS always seems to put in a portal mechanic.
Look I'm not saying it isn't cool or anything...but can we think of something a little bit...different?
Here...new end boss idea.
Ecolirella
* Deals no physical/magic damage. All disease damage
* Has a constant AoE around her that causes Minor Defile when you get too close.
* Spawns disease pods around the battlefield that pop when you get close and you have to cleanse using a pool (Like Stage 7 of VMA). These cause a Dot and cause Minor Maim. The pools, when used, have a 15s cool down before respawning.
* At random points, spawns adds that don't deal a lot of damage, but spawns a lot of them, and all deal disease damage.
* At 50%, the boss unleashes an AoE that cannot be avoided. "You're making me sick!" The AoE spawns causes Minor Defile and Minor Maim, cleanse by pool.
* At 25%, the boss becomes invulnerable, pods disappear and she spurts sludge all around the battlefield. The sludge is an AoE when on the ground and when stepped in, causes Major Maim. Cleanse by pool. After 5 seconds of this, the boss returns to vulnerability and cannot be taunted.She will continue to spurt sludge pools until death.
* She will randomly target one member of the group ("You're infected!") and hurls a fast projectile at the member. If not dodged, it will stun the member, and when Break Free is done, the member has a very strong DoT that cannot be cleansed and must be healed through. If the projectile is blocked it jumps to another member.
* The boss also randomly spawns a large enemy called "Plague Virus Capsule (looks like one of those viruses you learn about)." It will walk towards a pool and if it reaches the pool, it will permanently remove the pool from the fight. The Capsule doesn't attack, but has a decent health pool and cannot be snared or immobilized or stunned.
Hard Mode
There is a bottle on the floor before the boss. If drank it grants Hard Mode.
* The adds that spawn must be dealt with and if not killed quickly, they explode and cause Major Maim, Major Defile and Snare. The effect must be cleansed.
* Boss gets more health.
* The number of pools goes to 2.
* During the beginning of the sludge phase the boss will undergo mitosis and split from one boss to two. The second boss' health is greatly reduced (at this point the boss should have around 2m, so the mini boss has around 300k), but it deals a lot more damage. Deal with it quickly because if it isn't killed in a set amount of time, it heals itself by up to 50% and will split itself again.
Helmet
Ecolirella's Hat, Guise and Visage
(1 Item) Adds 1096 Health, Magicka and Stamina
(2 Item) Infectious Touch
Abilities that do not cause Physical, Elemental or Magic damage have their Weapon/Spell damage increased by 500. When you deal damage with one these abilities, you deal an additional 7500 Disease Damage and cause Minor Maim. This effect has a cool down of 10s.
And yes...Ecolirella is a play on E.Coli and Salmonella
