So after a year break from the game, I returned, got new updated gear and beat VMA first try. Of course died several times.
So I gotta ask
1) What’s your HARDEST stage? The stage that when you go in you know “There goes my flawless run.” For me it’s Frozen Blood
2) What stage do you enjoy? For me it Theatre of Despair. Mechanics are really cool, plus there’s nothing in the arena to block vision lol

The vault of umbridge and that stupid argonian behemoth... the poisons exploding while under a shield is my fave part.

I totally agree on the Theater of Despair being my fave as well. I love the fight against Voriak, especially after destroying the 3 crystals.

The Frozen Arena or Vault of Umbrage will forever end my Flawless Conquerer runs. I play Stam Sorc, so if I get poisoned I am dead and there is pretty much zero chance I survive in time to get to the antidote AOE. So frustrating when poison spawns in the Casters protection aura so you die no matter what.

Rink of Frozen Blood because there are too many casters and I play stam mostly. Castors like to stand in the frozen water making it even harder for melee builds.

Vault of Umbrage due to RNG, and also the one round with 3 archers at once. With no shields it requires a lot of stam dodge rolling.

However right now, the worst stage is which ever one ends up having the bug where the environment doesn't render properly. I'm not going back in vMA until that bug is fixed.

1) The random exploding plants that appear inside your bubble during the boss' scream.

2) The last stage is cool in that it feels less like a DPS race (even though there are elements of it), and more like actually smart, gameplay.

A tip on vault of umbrage poison plant when they spawn in shield while he scream, you can run out and bash him and he will stop screaming.

Usually it's frozen rink I die on.

Don't have a favourite.

The poison stage, the god**** poison stage. The RNG is unbelievable some runs for me, I hate that stage.

The final stage is the most fun for me, it's an interesting fight and more intricate than the other stages.

Trying to get better at it on stam. All of em are fun on magblade, but the Ice round and up are pretty punishing on stam. Still fun though.

Frozen rink used to be for me, now I can usually clear it without using sigils or dying. Now it's mainly stage 7 with the poison plants.

Anyone having trouble with the plants spawning in bubble, simply slot crushing shock if you're magicka build and interrupt the behemoth so you can step out of the shield. Have to do it quick and you waste the free dps during his scream, but it's saved me before. For stam you'll have to leave the bubble and if his scream is in one shot phase you're screwed. Mostly the plants don't explode once he's already one shotting things.

Been stuck on the theatre for months, actually I haven't tried in months, kinda just gave up and forgot about it

My only complaint are the sets being bound. This arena isn’t built with all playstyles in mind. And I would like to just purchase the winterborn instead. It’s to much of a grind for characters playstyle

Stuck for weeks on last boss. By far the hardest
