Should dungeon quests should be repeatable?

I think it's a pretty big shame that each dungeon in the game has its own quest and story yet many folks never really get to fully experience them. Altogether there are 32 dungeon quests currently in the game with more to come in the future, and some of these quests seem pretty cool from what little I've been able to experience of them. So I think that a system where you would be able to repeat these quests (albeit without the skill points or unique set items as rewards) would be nice.

I suppose that currently you could just ask the group you're with to slow down a bit, or just play with a pre-made group of friends, however this isn't really what I would call a perfect solution to the problem, and it certainly doesn't help those who've already completed the quests but may wish to do them again (unless that is the decide to just start a new character). Any thoughts on this?

Mostly I would be in the yes crowd. Doesn't really address the problem of being rushed through a quest though. I like taking my time when doing a quest or other content for the first time. So new content I tend to wait and run with guild mates I know are also wanting to go slow at first.

When I was still doing the dungeon quests if I got in a group that was in a hurry I would put off doing the quest until later so I could listen to the dialog and the other fun stuff.

Would be fun if in our journal we could see a list of quests that character has completed and be able to choose from the list to set one as active again. No rewards for completing a 2nd time on the same character though, would be something just for fun.

    That's a neat idea.

I would like a solo able version of these dungeon quests. Often times when running with others, they just want to speedrun through it then leave group, leaving me little time to listen to the quest and turn in.

I guess with the soloable version, the drops will be less (no set drops), at least I can enjoy the story at my pace!

Yes, but with a few changes:
    • Dungeon quests are accepted and become active upon entering the dungeon instance (always at the appropriate stage for the progress that has been made in said instance).
    • Dungeon quests are abandoned upon leaving the instance.
    • Dungeon quests do not count towards the quest log's max of 25.
    • Skill point only obtainable from first time round (obvious).
    • Once the final boss goes down, should anybody get kicked or leave the instance before being able to turn in the quest, all the rewards they would have obtained from turning in the quest will be given to them automatically (to prevent a first clear being denied because everyone else left the instant the dungeon was finished).

There should be a story mode that allows a solo player to do the quest.

After you complete the dungeon the first time, you could have the option to go in for a story mode with minimal combat and no loot and that can be repeated as many times as you like.

Other than letting those that have not finished complete on any run, no
Because the same change would need to be applied to all quests, not just the dungeon ones

Given that the rewards for all would have to change and no-one would buy this as 'new content,' where is the ROI on this work?

Solo story mode would be nice too. There's still some dungeon quests I've never had the chance to do while taking my time and letting all the voiced dialogue play, and search around and talk to other NPC's. Mostly all of the DLC ones.

    If you do this please:

Redesign the classic dungeon quests to be similar to DLC. There is a reason they dropped the whole - wait - talk to NPC - continue as it often breaks quests etc. For those who don't know. Most new DLC quests are: Kill this boss -> when done -> Stay and listen to npc *IF YOU WANT* - but it just goes to kill next boss npc for quest log. No actually talking etc. Can run through the dungeon without stopping etc.

If they don't revamp the classic dungeons a big no for me. Takes too long to run dungeons if every single time you have to wait in vault of madness for npc to stop talking after lava snake boss.

I didnt even get the chance to think about the story that the NPC talking about. Every time i get into the dungeon with queue-ing, my teamates just going in chargeing into the enemy.

I wish there's a a solo / story mode in public dungeon with the fighter NPC teamates as substitute for human teamates in public dungeon mode.
