The Moons and the Augur

So I just had an interesting talk with the Augur which I placed in my home, and he said something along the lines of how he's planning his next vacation, which it's going to be to the moons, and he says that he'd invite me along, but I can't survive up there. Now, my question is, why wouldn't we be able to survive up there? Reman Cyrodiil had a space program, and even space colonies on the moons. Not to mention we go to the moons during the main questline of Reaper's March, and learn that the Khajiits have several buildings there. You'd think a skull that isn't actually a skull would know these things.
