✭✭Why do you think the drop rates on getting Pyando chapters from fishing are so low?
I opened 165 crates (for gems for next few season) and was still four pieces shy of a full motif book. Drop rates are universally bad. Got the ice wolf (bleh—but best of the worst), three mounts and other rubbish. A truly dreadful season overall.Edited by Peekachu99 on June 22, 2018 1:45PM -

Further on that note... I noticed that the pyandonean motif chapters cost 25 crown gems, I feel like i remember hearing somewhere that they were going to be priced at 16 gems? I think from the PTS? I can't remember where i heard it. As an xbox player I wasn't on the PTS but i specifically remember thinking in my head that I have to save exactly 224 gems for the whole set and Now it seems I need much more than that. Anyone have any insight on this? Where they ever supposed to be 16? or were they always going to be 25 and I'm just crazy? -

kensan62_ESO✭✭✭I can see the slow transition to crown gem purchases only within the store. Anything worth buying anymore u need crown gems. If I wanted to take a chance on what I wanted to buy I would go back to swtor. Being able to buy what I wanted is one of the reasons I liked ESO so much. They starting to turn me away alittle bit with the lack of good regular crown offerings. -

I think people assumed on PTS that they would be 16 gems because they were a blue quality item. You are not crazy:-) -

thanks for the confirmation! guess I need a few more crown gems.... Luckily i have saved up a few months of plus crowns i can blow on the crates and hopefully get some statues or other things I have no interest in that I can trade in. -

I don't know what to think either. It used to be you wanted to have lots of crowns and that was the accepted currency for anything you might ever want to purchase. Now they've turned it into a cluster.
You can't buy chapters with crowns. You have to use new money, not money you gave them already to buy crowns. Then they inflate the price of everything in the crown store so your old crowns now buy less than they did in the past. Then they create an entirely new currency and called gems that you can't even directly buy but must get lucky to acquire. And then they put some cool stuff in there that you can't buy in the crown store. And now they have begun inflating the gems just like they did the crowns. What's next?
Can we please scrap all this and just go back the crown store like you had it in the first year of the game? You guys really need to reign in your marketing team. They are running out of control.

yiasemi✭✭✭✭I realised how misguided i was to thwart a daedra/maomer/sload invasion of Summerset. Because a much more insidious invasion was underway. Someone spiked the water supply and crates contain glowing multicoloured monstrosities, bad fashions to impress the addled (I mean, I am currently selling daggers that are actually bananas, and for silly money) pets only people who drink the cool aid can see and all kinds of gems and er chems. And if you still don't believe me, the more Psijic order motifs I get the more I look like I should be living in a yellow submarine. Silly season. Why open crates for gems? Why not wait for crates that have something you want? How does that make sense? -
