Its clear cyrodiil will never be fixed, so why not make a new form of pvp?

You still have a lot of cyrodiil itself to use, and that could be something on a smaller scale, maybe like a free for all or BR, like 8v8v8

    Oblivion ignores all mitigation including CP. The only difference is your stat pools are bigger and you may have some healing received/given boost from CP.

    I have said this before but I would be thrilled if they scrapped Cyrodill altogether and gave us larger battlegrounds. How many people would love an old school Alterac Valley (WoW) style BG? They could set up a 24v24v24 style campaign or just make it 48 vs 48 with various offensive and defensive points in the map with boss like NPC's mixed in. Matches could last a couple of hours to days but as players we could come and go so no matter what you would always get into a match (ie - either a new match or one that was in progress).

    Yeah - because battlegrounds worked out so well?

    Cyrodiil could be good if it wouldn´t lag - bgs are just a complete conceptional failure because they tried to incorporate the things that make open pvp fun (3 factions) into a "closed" pvp environment focused around objectives - which achieves the opposite in that case.

    I guess everybody that likes openpvp would just flatout quit. I shudder at the thought.
    BG pvp is the mcdonalds of pvp while open pvp is an à la carte menu if you ask me. I like both but if i had to choose only eating one or the other it wouldn´t be mcdonalds.

    Also eso bgs are so badly implemented it´s more like 3 days old chinese takeaway.

    Battlegrounds are flawed in so many ways...I would literally prefer playing old school counter-strike maps like de_dust, except with spells instead of guns.

    People keep treating battlegrounds as an alternative to Cyrodiil when it really isn't. And it's not there to replace it either, it's just another way to PvP and in a different style. It's supposed to imitate open world PvP, otherwise they would have just made another Cyrodiil.

    And the last thing we need in ESO is a battle Royale.

    Zos do not have enough ppl it seems. That is the only explanation for lazy set design etc. I guess new PvP type of content will not be released for at least 2-3 years.

    My 2 cents about the game... i used to play WOW alot (like 8 years alot)... then, none of the mmorpg did not somehow attract me to stay, but i tried almost all of them on the market.. This does not mean that i am some sort of expert.. but, ESO somehow is the game that got me into it.. i like this adventure style mix mmorpg...

    But lets go to PVP... i did not try much of PVP yet, but i like pvp bg more than Cyrodiil.. At this stage what i learned about pvp in eso is, that this game needs more varities of BG (arena comming in one of next 2 big updates if i am not mistaken?).

    But that will not be enough.. we need more BG varities, capture the flag,.... 8vs8?, 2 or 3 bigger maps of bg... (not the size of Cyrodiil but for 8vs8? or 10vs10?, then we need some sort of town with only pvp merchants... like hero island or something like that...

    Well i am player that like to play all in mmorpg, sometimes i like dungeons, sometimes i like to just explore, sometimes i like to pvp... but as it seems here, pvp is really unbalanced and has very high lack of content...

    Sure, let's add more laggy pvp content to a game that's clearly at its technical limit in using what limited resources ZoS is willing to invest in running the game... Until ZoS puts more resources into running the game, the lag will persist - everywhere.

    One Tamriel was ZoS' marketing ploy to justify reducing the number of servers running (lowering performance) in order to improve their personal profit - all at the expense of the player. The game has suffered ever since.

    ZOS only need to upgrade the servers and internet.

    When ESO launched you easily could see hundreds of players in the same screen with no lag.
