Zos...what did you do to the servers?

For the first time..in a long time I'm getting huge lag spikes, freezing and generally..things are not looking too hot on the server side of things...ya know.. with 999+ ping for almost 7 mins straight then getting DCed and then stuck on "requesting character login" for 15 straight mins only to get booted out with "an error has occurred" ontop of load screens taking so long I get logged out of the bloody game

and no..it's not on my end, due to the fact that discord, the voice call in dicord and the 30+ messages per min are running just fine...

and the real funny part? all this has only happened since the update today

Are you just telling me, that all the lag issues, ping spikes dc and being unable to log on character (while logged in the game) come from steam? Is this game running over steam servers or what?

been fishing on summerset most of today after maint... no issues at all.

well, apart from the outfit thing but that's in another thread.

Thanks for your answer but tbh, playing without addons is not an option for me, since eso doesnt provide the functionality I want but dont get with base game... But, to clarify this - issues persist even without addons and after having tried any of the other steps several times. Your support team might be getting grey hair already, when a ticket with my name on it arrives, so I better dont send the 148th ticket.

It’s not addons lol. These issues have been going on for weeks since Summerset.

I dont run this game with addons anymore because that seems to be Zo$ excuse anytime there is an issue with the client running.

Yes, today ESO is unplayable for me. I got every 2-3 minutes disconnects or huge lags. Since 2 weeks the performance of ESO is decreasing more and more.

Before official Summerst release, everything was fine. No disconnects or lags. And since the day Summerset has been officially released, it is almost not playable in the evening.

Btw: I already disabled also all addons and also tried to repair the client. Nothing worked for me.
