What about PvP and the Alliance War?

We have had some new additions to PvP specifically Battlegrounds, which is nice.

But my question is when are we going to see progression in the Story of the Alliance War?
Will we deal with yet another Daedric Threat?
With Imperial City as paid DLC. Is it ever going to change?
Is Molag Bal always going to be the main threat there with things changing in the world?

Could we see areas that are Alliance specific battlegrounds? Somewhere along the beaches maybe? Call them invasion zones where teams of different alliances meet and fight?

Could we have more Alliance specific Storylines? Where people playing different alliances will experience different perspectives?

Could we see Naval Combat?

I understand that PvE DLCs and content expansions make money, and I really enjoy those. But I have also found myself enjoying PvP combat in Cyrodil. I really like the epic sieges and working with an army and coordinating to protect the Keeps and Castles.
I really like getting invested in the Faction I chose and would like more storylines dealing with that.

What do you guys think?
Are there other facets of PvP you would like to see?
Would you like more Alliance oriented Storylines and Quests? One that are in both PvE and PvP zones?

Still could make it part of cryodill , three bridges to it and 3 factions so could used in a way to get Emp

The problem is, since world scaling came, that has essentially skewed any ability to really move forward and past the Planemeld story.

It ended, yes. But we have not moved past it as there's still anchors. There's still Imperial City with a giant anchor and Molag Bal minions.

The devs said that they don't really want to do moving forward in a timeline on an ESO Live, and that Morrowind takes place at the same time as the base game, and I am betting Summerset does (Despite the fact that they did actually move time forward in Orsinium, and that was the last time they did)

So, sadly, Imperial City will always be part of the Molag Bal story.

No changes to Ic , just make the bridges linked to the island and make them capture able as part of getting Emp , just something different than what we have had for the last so many years

What I’ve always wanted ... once per hour at a completely random place in Cyrodiil a pack of 200 zombies will appear, maybe in a forest or maybe on the Sejanus doorstep mid battle.

199 will drop nothing, not even XP, but 1 will have a 100% chance at a gold jewelry drop.

And now we have a completely ungrindable fun new feature with a really good reward.

Unfortunately the game would almost assuredly crash so maybe let’s just fix that first.

What's already there barely works as is. They won't even fix that, or implement simple map rotations after each campaign. Judging from past actions, not much will change going forward.

I really hate the three Alliance War 3 factions fighting it almost guarantees 2 factions will gang up on the other so what I would like to see is the current 3 factions make peace which if you talk to Rigurt near the Palace in Alinor he's there as an EP ambassador to make peace with the AD then what ZOS needs to do is make 2 factions only 1 faction vs 1 faction in Cyrodill this 3 way war sounds great on paper but garbage in practice

As far a PVE storylines going forward
will probably have to deal with Meridia or finish up some looses ends dealing with the Tharns maybe even fighting Reachmen in Skyrim

I also play on PC from time to time but I just wanna be left alone on there so sorry.

Never thought of just having 2 factions, which is a simple and good solution to these "treaties" that some alliances form.

I have a question: "What Alliance War?"
Somewhere along the line it seems to have been pretty much forgotten.
I have to jump through hoops to get back to any mention of it.
Since I won't do Cyrodil ever again and don't participate in PvP, it's pretty much meaningless to me.

Agree on this. Alliance war, once the main theme of this game, has become pretty obsolete. New players that start with Morrowind or Summerset don't even have a clue about it.

And Ayrenn calling on the other Alliances to help defending Summerset isn't very convincing either.

The nail in the coffin for the Alliance war storyline was One Tamriel imho. Your faction choice has no meaning anymore and that's just sad.

Not that I am a big PvP player or anything, but I think they should work on eliminating the lag and freezing before they try and focus resources on more PvP stuff. Yes I know they have different teams for different projects, but Cyrodiil is really bad right now and seems to need to be the focus of a large team. Adding more stuff without fixing existing problems seems like a recipe for disaster.

A cool solution would be making two factions. One would be the "good" faction, and the other the "evil" one. This would be great for people who like to RP the evil persona since we don't really have that. However it might cause issues in PvE since we are always fighting the "evil" side.

It's placed back in time it doesn't have to change.

However we can easily turn it into 3 faction war with (choose 3): Nibenay, Colovia, Imperial Legion, Reachmen

So, sadly, Imperial City will always be part of the Molag Bal story.

That makes no sense though, with every DLC they've moved things forward and had characters from previous story recognise you and interact with you in many ways and major ways thus ultimately meaning that depending on when you started playing the game then Morrowind is actually moving time forward like wrothgar because even the prelude recognises you if you've complete pariah abbey and even azura indicated morrowind wasn't in danger during the prologue but was about to be hense the prologue.

They may not want to do it too drag out the longevity of the game but honest they've got 353 years worth of space too use moving the timeline forward does need to be in huge leaps...they can still drag it out via story and character progression but still make it meaningful in the process.

Summer-set also clearly takes place later on because of darien and merdia and stonefire at the end of the original main story.

So yeah, it makes no sense to say they dont want to progress the time period seeings as they're already doing it. Like if you did summerset first then did the main story you'd end up doing the whole thing backwards almost like playing prequels lol
