They were not in my group the ones on my group were speaking english and we were all lagging 999+ the bg finished with the timer not because someone won. Something really fishy was going on.Playing since January 23, 2016 -

There has been a number of people talking about some rather odd server issues in the last day or so. I doubt your lag had anything to do with the other players in the match. -

✭they never gave them their own server after the localization. maybe zos is playing around with some P2P in their battlegrounds to save work on their core servers, that might explain the lag if you are blaming the Japanese players for it, but who knows, that's just speculation.“Whatever.”

The purpose is to show there is some kind of abuse or something wrong with the server obviously..it’s just unusual to see japanese in chat like that. I never saw this in 3 years of playing the game. ✭✭Most Japanese players seem to put ".jp" at the end of their character names, I assume that is how they find each other.
I see them in Cryodil quite a lot, although it helps I am in a similar time zone. -

To be fair, this happens in many games. Battlefield 4 was so bad with out of region players, you were able to find more US players on EU servers.
US servers full of Brazilian and Japanese players. The latency and interactions were simply terrible.
It’s not their fault, but still. I don’t want to see it or play against people doing the “running man”, spinning around in a circle and somehow manages to kill me instantly.Of course I like steak. I'm a Nord, aren't I?

Are you suggesting that if these folks are cheating that they are only capable of doing so because they are Japanese? and that North American players would be incapable of cheating in the same way? -

You do realise that there is no Japanese server for ESO, and the default server for Japan is the North American one? (And the only accessible one, I think.) Japanese players have been on PC/NA since launch.
There's nothing broken with anything only because people speak another language in chat. -

Uhh what? You haven't played with them in PvE or Cyrodil? Wow, that's surprising. Maybe you did, but they said nothing in group chat and used Japanese zone instead or whisper. I honestly don't know how Japanese players playing could be "abuse." As for lag, BGs has been lagging for me the last two days. I've been put it matches with 30 seconds on the clock (and no, there weren't any load screens and of course on the losing side), and got queue cooldowns when they were over for 30 min - 1 hr. I'm pretty sure no player could control any of that.
