    No, not really. In fact, Argonians are notably different from all of Tamriel's other races in that they were not created, or thought to be created, by the Divines.

    It is thought they were created by the Hist, so that they could perceive the mortal world on their behalf.

    That hasn't actually happened yet. And a generation or so after that they wiped out a largish chunk of their own people by helping summon up a chunk of an Oblivion realm whose creatures harvested the souls and animated the corpses of everything that came close.
