Overload is getting so much hate, I am nervous to see how they want to fix it. I hope, they just go with a straight damage nerf instead of changing much about the ults functionality. Needless to say, I don't care about its damage component.
The best solution would be to flag it as a spell and not as a light attack. That would be a 60% damage nerf, because they can no longer use elegance and magelight and Overload is very weak without a dedicated build for it.

So nerf overload into irrelevance to support a niche PvP playstyle and activity...

In several PVP encounters, whether it be BGs or Cyrodiil, I have witnessed entire group compositions based around Overload sorcs with a heal/tank using "Guard" on them while they one shot most people.
I doubt this was intended and is very overpowered in PVP currently.
How do other players feel about how Overload is working after the Summerset balance to light attacks?

Well, I do care about the third bar. And a lot of other people do as well. Instead of gimping the class, how about smoothing the transition in and out the third Bar?
