Stam NB went all poison dmg, bad idea?

For kind of a role-play idea, I chose all poison dmg for my dark elf stamblade. But I'm wondering, is it wise to do one dmg type? Or is it better to spread it around some?

This would apply to any character that does mostly one type of dmg.

For poison I'd actually recommend dragonknight, but to answer your question as it were.... Doing one type is fine, you can find gear sets for almost every damage type. I think morag tong is the set for pure poison, but not 100% sure.

I guess my concern was mobs that have resistance to dmg types. That would make the player weak against those mobs unless the dmg types are varied.

Your concern for mobs is not necessary. You'll still kill it fast enough.

Stamblades are primarily either physical or disease, depending on the morph, not poison.

But it got changed to that, it was poison once iirc.
