Dear devs: If you change player's capability, give them the chance to re-spec!

I find it really bad practice to remove functions in areas of the game (in this particular case: removing stealth from dark cloak) but at the same time not resetting that skill for everyone that has taken it.

It should be common sense, to compensate players with whatever convenience you can offer, when messing around with their game-play style or character configuration.

If you would have checked the respec shrine, you would see that skills are respecced for 1 gold each right now.

This won't last forever, so I would suggest you log to each alt you want to do this with and at least reset the skills.

I kind of agree, I know that there's currently a cost reduction for skill/morph resets, but that means resetting all morphs or all skills = pita.

What would be awesome on skill nerfs changes, ahem, would be a little pop up box stating 'xxx has changed, do you wish to reset this skill/morph'.

They used to reset everybody's skills after a big change, or sometimes reset only the skills majority impacted by a change. It was really upsetting to a lot of people, and the forum rage was unending. Their compromise was to not reset anything, but to allow players to respec for 1 gold per skill for a limited time. I think it's the right approach.

Next to finding your wording provocative, as it implies it is up to me to inform myself about this circumstance, I also find it badly communicated to the player (if it is at all, as I for one haven't seen an obvious notification telling me about that price reduction).

It was in the patch notes. Failure on your part to take the initiative to research something before complaining is not Zeni's problem.

Due to the high number of gameplay changes in this update, we're temporarily reducing the respec cost to one gold until next week’s patch.

So that cost is just temporary and will be reverted to what was before?
