My character stopped gaining experience. Is this happening to anyone else?

I created a new character to start with Summerset, I am on the quest "Buried Memories" and now my experience is static.

Is this normal? Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I suppose it has to be asked, just so that we are clear on the subject... what is making you think that your experience is static?

I kill things the experience number does not increase.

Just a minute ago I began gaining experience again. Whatever was wrong seems to have resolved itself.

Just a minute ago I began gaining experience again. Whatever was wrong seems to have resolved itself.

Interesting. Did it leap forward, or just resume? I was wondering whether it is was just a UI display issue. You were gaining experience, as far as the server was concerned, but it just wasn't showing up in the UI.

It resumed. It seemed to be a lapse in experience gain.

It looks like it simply did not record for a interval.

A couple of days ago I was Jewelcrafting, I was refining and deconstruction and watching my xp bar as I knew that at level 8 something else opened and I was just over level 7. It didn't budge, not a single point of xp did I gain.
I was a bit surprised, no wonder everyone grumbled about JC it must take forever I thought.
Moved away to the bank to look at something, went back and opened up JC table again and I was 8 and a half.
It was just a UI display error, the xp had accumulated.

Seems like the age-old growing pains that come with every new contents, DLC and chapter releases.. yayy.. working as intended.
