if you got a desk job you dont have memorial weekend or day off. even i got to work and i work retail. so their working i imagine. they just cant stop support on their game because of a holiday.

That's not true everywhere, it's on an employer by employer basis. They should have the day off.

Maint is the day after.

ZoS will almost always invariably put off till some future point, i.e "soon", than asap.

I don't disagree with you about the need for ZOS to do maintenance ASAP, but I do think the reason they aren't doing the normal Monday maintenance is that either ZOS employees have Memorial Day off or they expect lots of players to have Memorial Day off, who would then scream about not being able to play ESO on their day off.

So either way, Memorial Day. Unless ZOS is holding off major fixes until Summerset goes live for everyone on June 5th, which I hope not. Nevermind, I see they have maintenance the 29th. Good! Bugs need to be fixed.

I definitely would scream The tone of my bug reports about siege weapons not working would be going steadily downhill by then.

Wrong. Most people have off for Memorial Day. ZOS is more than likely among that number. They always have people on duty, of course, however, most of them are off and that is why they are not doing maintenance on Monday.

The game will be just fine for another day or so.

While I have seen some players post they have some issues, it seems not very wide spread. I would expect whatever they will fix this coming week can wait that one day.

So far everyone I have grouped with has not had serious issues. Nothing game breaking emergency.

Memorial Day IS an important holiday! It's important to anyone who likes to grill and drink beer! I'm sure many ZOS employees fall into this group!

I've had Memorial Day, and all other U.S. federal holidays off, in every desk job I've ever had, ever. Most people do. The exceptions have been when I was on call. The same is true for Zeni. They have on call staff for emergency outages, but the offices will be closed and the staff will have the holiday off.
