Slow downloads

Today eso was uninstalled when I logged in causing me to have to reinstall. I cannot get past 1.19 mb per sec. it has been downloading for 10 hours and is at 21%. My internet is fine. I have 10mb internet and download anything else at 8mb per sec. I have changed regions. Set DL to unlimited etc. it is extremely frustrating. Do they meter the ZOS servers to preserve BW or something? I am not going to wait much longer to play a game I paid for.

Slow download speeds can happen for a few different reasons. You can try changing the speed of your download to the other settings in the launcher by following the steps below:

1. Start the ESO launcher.
2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the launcher.
3. This will bring you to the Launcher Settings menu.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the window and change the Maximum Download setting to 5mbps or 10mbps.

Adding an exception to the Windows Firewall and flushing the DNS can help improve download speed as well.

I have read and done all of this since owning game. Port triggering,dns flushing etc. downloading anything from your servers is a glacial-paced disaster. It took 15 hours to dl the summerset update alone. It is getting to the point that I do not look forward to updates, dlc etc.

Yes its happening here to me too its going to take months to redownload ESO, whats going on with Zos servers..
