Since you are "aware" that some (all) Steam players are having issues... Why not make it so that EVERY player (not the pre-Dec 2016 ones only) can actually use the standalone launcher to log in when things go down the drain???

its not possible due to exploit
all pre Dec ^16 players have 2 eso accounts now

angeleda✭✭✭✭There's ways to consolidate your playerbase into ONE unified one instead of this mess if you actually want to.
They have 2 accounts? Give them a deadline to "choose" or offer to consolidate them into one etc
As for the "refund" etc, i get it, but you could also have an option when you link your steam account (which so far
it offers nothing) to your ESO account in their website, when you surpass the 2 hours gameplay thru steam and you cant refund anymore, THEN you can pretty much use the standalone launcher too/as well
