Hi @ZOS_GinaBruno,

How do I switch of Announcements? Each time I log in I get the extreme annoying Announcements Pop-up....

    There is no way to switch these off. It’s intended.

    As I understand some has made an addon for it on pts.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    Be patient guys, they will surely remove it eventually and you will log in to the game to a fresh and clean screen. I'm positive this will happen soon enough.

    It's designed intentionally to prevent you from not seeing it.

    I hope they remove it entirely or the very least make it pop-up only once across the whole account.

    I am often of the opinion that making multiple threads of one thing will make it more likely to be seen, as opposed to having one or two threads that could potentially be buried under meme threads or pointless threads.

    Whilst I do agree, and hate the forum being cluttered generally when there are so many topic it's because something has been disliked by a number of players and ZOS will take note.

    It's a bit of a nuisance when it pops up every time you log in, did some character hopping last night as I couldn't remember who had a certain set stashed on them and even though it's only a key press to get rid of it, it soon becomes exasperating.

    As others have said, shove something at me too much and I purposefully won't buy it...

    Well, the only thing ZOS manages to do with this giant adverts is, that i stop getting interested in Clownstore and dont buy anymore

    The pop-up should be once / day / account or have an opt-out toggle.

    As is:
    1. It takes too long to draw a rectangle on my screen and fill it with the adds. It should be an embarrassment to the dev team.
    2. I run all my toons through writs. I don't need to be alerted 14 more times. I already have the info.
    3. I'm a subscriber. This is a F2P phone game mechanic.

    It's pure annoyance, near zero benefit. Does ZOS even have a UX team?
