[Guide]Customizing the launcher download limits

Not sure this is a problem just for me but i have only a 7mbps line (that gives me around 830kb/s max) and ESO can lock up my internet when downloading stuff like big patches. the launcher download limiter doesn't work as it should, it actually mentions limits as 10MBps, 5MBps and 1MBps but being MBps = megabytes per second, these are really high numbers i think a lot of ppl can't really reach.

so i found out you can edit a file to make it work and customize your own download speed limit

- Go into Zenimax Online/Launcher
- Open the file launcher.settings with a notepad
- it will look like this: {"logExpirationDays":0,"maxFileWriteRate":0,"maxFileReadRate":0,"maxUploadRate":0,"maxDownloadRate":5242880,"webEnabled":true,"p2pEnabled":false,"region":"US","language":"en-us","use64BitClient":true,"zosLastError":"","startOnBootup":false,"minimizeToSystemTray":false,"showPublicTest":false,"lastLog":7,"ESO_Live_DownloadingTime":0}
- edit the line "maxDownloadRate":5242880 (this is actually the 5MBps limit from the launcher) and put whatever number you need

for example "maxDownloadRate":524288 means 512 kb/s. use this converter http://whatsabyte.com/P1/byteconverter.htm to transform the kb/s you want into bytes and use that number.

if this is just a bug with my launcher or this solution is well know, tie me to some disneyland architecture in summerset
