Summerset Intro Question

I realize that Summerset this question may be a bit tricky to answer and I am not really trying to get spoilers persay, however I was curious if anyone knew the reasoning for your character starting in Summerset like when they changed the intro to have you go to Morrowind when it came out. I only ask because I am more of a solo rp player and the Morrowind intro made oerfect sense for my main rp idea as a starting point. But with the release on the horizon I will not get that same opening and so I am wondering if I want to make a new character now before Summerset’s release or if the opening reasoning for going to summerset on a new character makes sense.

I get that, I meant in-game. Like the note you have on the ship heading to Morrowind “blah blah blah going on an adventure to morrowind hooray blah blah blah”. I just liked it because it made it feel like my character was heading out on a little adventure when things kick off and I get thrown into a world and get more than I bargained for. Made a fun little background idea for why I was in morrowind is all and was curious what/if anything similar they have done for Summerset.

Yeah it would be good to have a new character slot for some of us who have them maxed out so we can experience the new starting point. But hey we will find that out later today.

Indeed, I am just curious. Did not realize the date for the release at the moment (just woke up, brain is not fully awake yet). I imagine it is of at least some interest to many plaers across the board, vets and simple players such as myself. I only ever have one character at a time and for me this is a question of do I make a new character before Summerset and have my intro in Morrowind and explore there before going to Summerset as I will already be there, or will the new intro idea be worth a fresh build for and starting the new character in Morrowind?

Of course this would be simpler if they just gave you the choice but such is life.

So now that PC players have had a chance to start running about in Summerset, anyone have any info on the intro motivations to what your character is doing in Summerset? I am very curious to know if it is a good idea to wait to make a new build for Summerset or if I should start in Morrowind now before Summersets release for consoles.
