Audio: Option to Toggle Battle Music On/Off

With Summerset and a whole new Soundtrack drawing near, it's once again time to throw this out there and hope it draws attention.

One of my biggest upsets with the game's audio is how great the musicals are. And the upset comes in because if I have Music toggled on, the Battle Music that plays whenever a mob aggros on you also is on, and since hostile mobs are spaced tightly packed in the overworld, the beautiful ambient theme is constantly interrupted by the drums every twenty seconds because you run into a wolf or a spriggan or a bear or this or that or oh look a Daedric portal just opened!

I'm not much a fan for the drums during a fight, in fact I'd love it if the ambient music just continued to play even when I start stabbing a Minotaur. I just want to fully appreciate the scores in this game and the constant interruptions force me to just turn the Music off completely and listen to Pandora.

Can there please be a special toggle for the Battle Music? So that way the players can fully enjoy the rest of the soundtrack you guys work hard to produce.

I already asked the Music Director this last year, and he did say he would pass it back up the chain. I personally would love to be able to toggle off the battle music.

One of my favorite mods on the stand alone series, was the one that removed battle music.

As a Toggle, I would love this.

Id like a smart battle music system where the music for battle will start after 20 seconds of combat. I'd also like more combat music variety

That's awesome to know, hope it stuck with someone cause I've been dying to actually enjoy the music and play the game at the same time. The soundtrack is actually pretty nice and I love the atmosphere it brings. Especially since for the better part of the last two years I've been playing the game with no music whatsoever, besides playing Pandora in the background.

Agreed. I personally really dislike the drums battle music.. any time it comes on I get rather annoyed.

Had music turned off for over a year because I can't stand the same repetitive combat music.
I wish I could just listen to the original zone music while in combat.

It's a bit irritating when you're in certain dungeons, public dungeons or just overland stuff having the same constant music playing

I agree.
Make it possible to turn off the battle music please!
I can't play the game because it starts over and over again! And to play completely without music is not interesting

Or at least turn down the volume. If the beautiful background music is at a good level the battle music rattles my neighbor's dishes.
