What will they be good at? What will they be bad at? Will they have a place in pve endgame?

PvE endgame yes. Nice DPS, though stam in general takes a hit. Easy rotation. But the game is ranged biased for many fights, maybe cloud rest too.
Can also work as tanks, but that is more hybrid.

PvP. Just nah.
