Do you play with the ingame censor on or off?

I leave it on, because it is hilarious when I say something normal and it pins it as a swear word! For example I need to borrow sheogorath'****e... Pretty interesting to guess what people are really saying!

On. Not because im such a precious snowflake that I cannot bear to see "dangerous" words, but because I'd like to know when the shoddy filter blocks out my perfectly non-swearing words and sentences, so I can modify it so that others, that use this filter, can actually read it.

And yes, personally I think it should be possible to enable/disable filter on forums. But, as usual, nothing will change, so why are we even discussing this?

Off because half of what I write would be censored.

Also the filter isn't very well designed. "Whisper me" one of the most common phrases used in zone chat is censored for example (which is why everyone goes /w me)... I wouldn't even consider the censored word vulgar. :D

And so the spam filter actually adds "dirty" words instead of hide them. I never noticed the "whisper me" hidden word thing until the spam filter spelled it out for me and now i can't unsee it.

    Off

I'm an adult, say whatever you like. If I don't like it or agree with it then it will soon thereafter be flooded out by "WTS/WTB" messages anyways. ;)

    On

I don’t need that on my screen. I’m an adult and it’s often used by younger people.....helps me steer clear of poor experiences really easy.

    On or off? Why?

    And

Followup question: Should the forums have a similar censor, set to on by default, but allow us to turn it off?

i have it off cause its got the rating it has for a reason you dont need to not show profanity or anything of the sort. if a kids on here its the parents choice not ours

    Off in the game.

On in the forums. This isn't a playground to say whatever you want. This is an official community for a business. It represents ZOS. I feel its a necessity to have a filter on the forum. - Which doesn't mean you can't express yourself here.
