Correct, curse is direct damage. However, ZoS tends to flip flop on it being a DoT and not being a DoT. So you usually have to test that skill each patch.

Everything that can proc Red Mountain does that without dealing damage: Blockade, Endless Hail, Blade Clock etc. I play this set in BGs on my MagWarden for fun paired with Valkyn. I usually try to aim the Blockade of frost, but even if enemy players run out of it, it procs on CD.
but ravager is procced by melee damage, not by direct damage....so actually flurry should proc it. same goes for puncturing strikes, they both should proc ravager, otherwise this set wouldnt be that popular for stamplars in pvp.

wow thats a really low uptime on ravager, no?
i mean you shuld be able to proc it much faster with flurry, since it counts as multiple attacks, so per flurry you should have a 32-40% chance to proc ravager. for that proc chance the uptime is very low.
@Alpha-Lupi Dually note, flurry Deals Direct damage on the final hit while the four other hits are considered damage over time which in turn, can proc specific sets such as Valkyn Skoria.
