True. Good point on the bow. I will be missing major brutality though. The DW and 2H bleeds do stack and i was under the impression that Charged trait won’t increase chance on bleeds, as they are not a status effect.
I have Master axes on my NB and i was wondering if anyone had a solid bleed build setup suggestions. I’m having problems fitting all of my skills i want to use. I also have the Master battleaxe and Asylum battleaxe. What gear and skills could i use for stamina NB pvp with bleeds
As far as I know... No it doesn't. Bleed isn't a status effect.True. Good point on the bow. I will be missing major brutality though. The DW and 2H bleeds do stack and i was under the impression that Charged trait won’t increase chance on bleeds, as they are not a status effect.
Charged will increase the chance of the axe bleed from the twin blade and blunt I think. Major brutality is sort of an issue with this setup. You’d be limited to pots or somehow using shrouded daggers, as the NB major brutality skill kinda sucks. Drop the bow then and go 2H backbar, rally never hurts for the heal. Once summer set hits you can really experiment with 2h wpns. Sloads semblance is of much interest if it doesn’t get nerfed.
While the bow would be nice... what about infused Master 2H backbar with weapon damage glyph and Carve bleed to proc it. DW nirn and sharpened Master axes with poisons? I hate to use poisons on a DW bar though since i’m replacing 2x enchants instead of just 1.
Might be better off going nirn/infused with oblivion dmg enchant and disease
Master DW front
Agility or endurance
Defensive medium armor set on body
Master bow or master 2h axe back
Troll king
Cat or orc
Is what I'd try first for solo PvP.
You'd get brutality either from pots, from flying blade, power extraction or from rally. Should meet up with me in-game so I can test master dw, I still don't have a set.

Yeah we can do that. Add @Zeromaz
Following on from these comments, is master dw only worth running if at least one of the weps is an axe? I've got two master daggers and really don't want to do the vdsa grind, but if golding out two master daggers is pointless, then I might have to.

No, not at all. Axes just give you an addition passive bleed that isn’t affected by the DW Master’s buff
2h+DW
1 masters Axe 1 masters dagger - the improved proc chance on the tbab bleed is less valuable than the crit from dagger since it then becomes more likely you waste ticks by refreshing your bleed too early. Main hand nirn, off hand infused - berserker+Shock glyph. Your CP layout won’t increase the damage on the shock glyph, but proc’ing the concussed status effect will increase your damage 8%
5 shacklebreaker - bit of damage, bit of stam sustain, all the magika you need for cloak
2x Bloodspawn - sustain, defense, more ultis
3x agility - lots more damage and some hidden sustain by means of increasing your max pool significantly
2h Axe of choice - Asylum if you use 2h execute, random infused, maelstrom, whatever, Double DoT poison
Apply your DoTs, weave spammable, burst.
Don’t stack anything into penetration as bleeds ignore armor, this means you want to stack into weapon damage/stam, DoT/Direct damage(incap and surprise attack are still your big hitters), and crit chance/damage on a bleed build.
% based modifiers such as Exploiter are phenomenal here as well.
Outside of changing Shackle and Bloodspawn for more aggressive options this is pretty much min/maxed for a bleed build that is also not a one trick pony. You could run blood drinker for example but you lose incap and surprise attack damage as well as weave damage plus all your magika sustain
Thats some pretty good advice @Lexxypwns
I’m curious why you said no pen though if i’m still using surprise attack, incap, and executioner?
Today i messed around with Bone Pirate, Hulking Draugr, Master Axes, Asylum Greataxe and it felt good. The only issue i noticed was too much stamina. I could run out of magicka but never stamina.
I’ll look into Shackle once I get off work.
My abilities I had were Quick Cloak, Twin Slashes, Shadowy Disguise, Surprise Attack, Vigor, Flawless Dawnbreaker
Shuffle, Relentless Focus, Shadow Image, Executioner, Rally, Incap.
Is there any reason to swap any of these out? It all felt decent but I must mention, I haven’t played in 7 months so I could be a little rusty!
