I just made a new character and I have a concept for another one that will probably be created before Summerset gets released. Or not. I'm really good at procrastinating.

But they will not be born in Auridon.

I am deleting a Bosmer Templar and recreating a Redguard Templar after Summerset releases. It's the only class I haven't played since they released One Tamriel and combined all the Vet points into champion points.

I have a Bosmer design that I like the looks of enough to want to make her. Not sure what class, though as I only have one Sorc so far I suppose that would work.

However, I am at 7/8 slots now and I like having an empty slot to play with character design. I have no earthly reason to buy another slot given that I haven't maxed anything. Even my main with CP has never tagged the CP cap yet, nor seen all the maps and quests. So I suppose I could delete my Argonian name placeholder that I'm never going to play, but I'd have to be sure I was going to play the Bosmer.

Also, I would have to have a good Bosmer name. Her PTS name of Julie Enfries is too silly. Even if I do pronounce it "EN-freeze" to reduce the blatant food reference, well, a bosmer isn't going to be eating potatoes, right?

The thing is, the Summerset tutorial is reasonably fun and is incredibly short, but I'm not sure it's worth creating a whole may-never-play character just to be "born" there. We'll see.

I have 14 max level characters. I will not make another character until the release a new class, if that even happens. It's going to be quite a while at the very least.

I currently have no plans to make a new character and I don't want to make one just to start in Summerset. Although maybe I'll make a temporary one and then delete them.

I'll be surprised if I never make another permanent character, so it's possible I'll have one who starts out in Summerset. But it might not be until the next expansion is released.

I have a couple of Altmer, so I am good to go.

And, my Breton Crafter will be all over the Jewelry stuff. I might even take my Orc or Argonian or Khajiit over there just to upset the rank and file. Thalmor are really going to hate seeing me over there. That pleases me.

Summerset NPC's will recognize your character as outlander, even if he/she is Altmer.
So, you literally can not create proper Summerset resident toon.
