Could we please have a banking assistant who doesn't run away, or at least a UI notice that he has??

I just logged out of a character who needed gear, logged into the character who was holding it, summoned the banking assistant, put the stuff in the bank, logged out, logged back into the original character, took the stuff out of the bank ... but it wasn't there!!!
The reason, of course, was RBS -- Runaway Banker Syndrome.
Given how long loading and unloading screens take, this is seriously annoying.
