Channeled Acceleration cast time

The 1.3 second cast time just feels like ages while in rotation :( I had my hopes for magicka DDs' own minor force source but i truly doubt that it's worth using in combat with that cast time. I would really love to see it being instant, like Rearming Trap :\

Take the instant cast morph that gives cheaper Sprint!

Which is basically a stam morph? Better keep begging healers for Stalwart Guard.

How is that stam morph. You pick either triple duration with cast time or normal duration without. The sprint there means nothing for anyone in pve

For PvE, the casttime morph is obviously better for anyone, and the casttime doesn't means that much because the CGD passes during the casttime and the buff duration is very long.

Sprint buff is slightly important, but i get your point. In the end, it's still better to beg to healers for Stalwart Guard instead of using this once in every rotation or something. As it doesn't give anything else than Minor Force, unlike Trap giving some nice dps too.

What i mean is it'd be really worth using if longer one didn't have a cast time. Otherwise not really.

Exactly, you are giving up a sinlge ability use to get the buff. By the time the cast is complete the GCD is already finished.

Op is being way too overdramatic.

Giving up on one single skill matters a lot for a petsorc, and CD also. It's enough to break up the rotation for Acuity too. My point is still there: In many cases i can ask for Stalwart Guard instead of this, and it's not really viable for giving up on one skill and losing time on your rotation. It's also uncancellable.

Edit: I'm not dramatic at all, as i get very similar results either with or without Channeled Acceleration :) I'm just stating a situation here.

well I always felt like that wont be that good, 36s of minor force is good but not that much, you will already have high minor force with trap (guard ofc) and with the other morph too, plus I'd take the other morph especially in heavy mobility based trials like a backyard runner in vmol, vAS, the new trial as much I seen it in videos and such and ofc pvp, plus with each cast you get the orb damage from passives, but maybe thats not that much overall
personally I'll go with the magicka one if I cant get a guard, because I hate to go melee positions on certain fights

It definitly feels more than 1.3s, it feels like 1.8 or 2.0 even... maybe the animation is making it slower somehow?
