If they ever add things that remotely interest me, most likely. Chances of them actually doing this? Very slim.

Well, if they continue to put things I want in the crown store, I will continue to purchase them.

If they hide the items I want behind real cash RNG, I will not be buying a chance to win them.

I will continue to buy the costumes I want, depending on how well they dye and look on my characters.

Otherwise, the only thing in the Crown store that's worth it for me is the Riding Lessons for Speed/Stamina and that's because I PVP in Cyrodiil where a fast, healthy horse is very beneficial.

There are many things in the Crown Crates that I would buy if they were in the Crown Store directly, but I refuse to buy Crown Crates.

• I don't have any strong/changed opinions on the Crown Store, and I will continue to slowly spend the ~3-4k crowns that I've got the same way I always have: slowly, and just on particular items. (my purchases in the past ~6 months have been two or three 500-700cr costumes, and the TG and DB DLC when they were on sale during their anniversary event.)



I've never been interested in the various "big ticket" items - large houses, rare motifs, expensive mounts/costumes, expensive Assistants, etc. And no particular interest in Crown Crates (except when I was anticipating the Dark Shaman costume returning that way. I might have bought 4-8 crates to either get it or the gems for it. But they gave it for free during an event, so that's fine.)

Nothing about the Crown store has changed for me compared to a year ago. /shrug

edit: what's the new drama, anyway? Is this all just about the motif pages in Crown Crates? Meh, whatever.

What I would most like to see is housing made more affordable, it would be good if the oldest houses could be put on sale as new ones from chapters and DLC are added

On an aside accusing people of being trolls is really low and irritating

I don't have any strong feelings about the crown store as a whole. There's items/sales tactics I like, ones I don't and ones I'm indifferent towards.

But I also don't have some grand scheme or statement to make with my purchases. I buy things I like as and when I want them and don't buy stuff I don't like, simple as that. (I suppose you could say that counts as voting with my wallet, because if I don't like how something is sold - like the crown crates - I won't buy it. But I'm not going to boycott the entire store because I don't like an item.)

Which means I am almost certainly going to buy stuff from the crown store in future because I don't have the Clockwork City DLC yet and I want to get it, I like some of the costumes that have been datamined for post-Summerset release and I'm sure there will be other stuff I want in future.

The motif pages in crates left a bad taste but the store has been going down hill for a while, that oriental motif is a smorgasbord of clipping if your charecter is anything other than very slim. The crates have some mildly interesting stuff but the cost is way beyond me, I can’t afford rng like that. I’ve used my big grey wolves for a while now and it looks like that’s not going to change

I mostly use my ESO+ crowns to get some items whenever there's something that interest me... be it a mount, or a nice costume, or hairs etc. I mostly used them over the years to get the DLCs when they're put on offer.

I never will use my crowns no matter how many of them I have to buy crown crates... for all matters and purposes stuff that's inside crates doesn't exist to me.

This applies only to items that are offered for direct purchase, I won't purchase crown crates. Crates would need a serious rework to get me even thinking about purchasing them.

I'm in agreement. But I did end up buying several crates to purchase a Mazzatun motif book.

I don't like the direction the Crown Store is taking and will not be buying items in protest.

Beyond the 1500 a month I get from my sub i'm finished buying crowns. I'm really unhappy at the direction the Crown store has taken.

Also, if the 1500 goes away so do i. Sub isn't value for money if the crowns aren't there to add weight to it.

Not much lately, not enough interesting stuff, the khajiit robe was an obvious one but nothing else.
has 13K crowns now after an ESO+ renew, has +100 crown gems, not much to spend it on
Give us unique and fun stuff who is reasonably priced.
And bring back old stuff, Interesting the dark shaman will be pretty redundant with the new motifs in summerset.

I don't oppose the crown store on principle and I'm willing to buy items I like if they come at a reasonable price. The only problem is that most of the things I'm interested in are put in crown crates. I don't buy crates. The only time I got a bunch was when I had some leftover crowns from ESO+ and literally nothing to spend them on - I would never pay any extra money specifically for crates.

I generally like stuff out of the crown store and enjoy having more cosmetic options for my characters as far as costumes, hats, mounts, and pets. I don't buy EVERYTHING from the crown store, but I do buy what is at a price point I am comfortable with and that has use for me.

I also generally like what's in the crates, though I almost never go for anything at Apex or above (the blue and purple tiers have all the interesting goodies I want).

What I'm seeing is fewer impulse buy opportunities, at the rate things are going ZOS will have to drop the micro from the transactions. I feel the level they are aiming for and pitching at is just too expensive for my tastes.

Ever since crown crates were introduced ive been slowly buying less crowns. Its to the point ive unsubbed eso plus after being subbed since launch. I get they need money to make content.... but with crown only motifs and now pages in crates i just cant support anymore.

Crafting my own gear for looks has been my passion, the last thing keeping me in game. And with that experience partially locked behind a direct purchase limited time only pay wall i have found myself unenthusiastic towards ESO. Tis a petty thing i know, but tis my petty thing
