Opinions on the Crown Store Gifting feature

Curious as to what everyones opinion on this upcoming feature. I personally am mixed on it, so i'd like to hear what you guys think of it and why. Im just asking that ALL responses be respectful and constructive, regardless of your stance on the matter. All opinions welcome, just want to avoid negativity that detracts from potential concerns and/or praise.

I'm not sure if it's good to gift things like upgrades (riding capacity, bank etc) because i'm sure that there will be people that sell it for gold or even real money? I have a mixed feeling too, i just hope there won't be people that exploit the new system too much

But i really like the gifting idea! Finally i can be sneaky and gift a pet or a mount to my girlfriend hehe

While to me the idea behind gifting (giving things to friends) seems good, the implementation is terrible.

Allowing things to be sent to anyone means people can give you gold for the promise to receive a crown store "gift" in return. Since you can't send gift crown store items with cash on delivery, this either requires mutual thrust (very unlikely) or will result in a lot of scammers ("wts 3000 crowns for 1 mil gold, you send gold first"). This system will just legitimize gold sellers (although for in-game items which can't be returned to cash).

I think it's a good thing as we had this already but it was very clunky having to mail support every time we wanted to send a gift.

The worry most seem to have is how this will turn into a system for players selling items to others for gold and any chances of scamming happening from that.
