PTS - Rapid Maneuver while mounted no longer works ?

Whenever I activate Rapid Maneuver while mounted I automatically dismount. I couldn't find anything on it it the patch notes so I'm wondering... Was this intentional? I hope not. If so please reconsider as it will make getting around this huge game MUCH more tedious.

Speaking of which, the game pad also vibrates randomly for no apparent reason.

Having to dismount and remount everytime I have to reapply the buff in cyrodiil to my team mates.....rediculous

I play with keyboard you still get dismounted. Also weapon swaps dismounts you aswell.

yea i use mouse and keyboard as well it still forces me to dismount whenever i use rapids

I was constantly getting dismounted last night. Sometimes when I was using RM and others I have no idea why it did it.

I figured out what it is. Whenever you go too far from a rift the Augur of the Obscure wears off and makes you dismount.

Having the same issues on game pad. Random dismounts, rapids dismounting you and the random vibration.

have no addons active, using keyboard and mouse, was nowhere near rift - get dismounted every time I would try to use rapids.

Are you guys sure that you don't have LA macro with skill key, I played PTS last night and RM was working fine for me.

eating buff food also dismounts you character, which isnt this way on live atm. Needs a fix it seems

Well weird thing is my stamplar pts character dismounts everytime. But other characters are fine, they do not dismount. I tried to switch zone, changed skill morph, changed mounts, no addon active, no macro and no rift yet nothing changed. Only 1 character gets dismounted. Then I thought maybe it is related to weapons or sets but nope.

It's good to know It's not just me. And I would add that it isn't an add on causing this at least for me.

From your responses I'm guessing it wasn't intentional and hopefully they can get this worked out before it gets to the actual release. (They must have people who read these comments, right? ) I also noticed that weapon swapping also causes dismounts so I'm pretty sure they didn't intend for that to happen.

In the mean time I'll try it with some other characters and see if they have the same issue.

Update - Tried several other Characters... All have similar problems. Some worse than others.

Night blade, Sorc, Warden, Vampire... doesn't seem to matter.
Also doesn't seem to matter which weapon bar it's slotted on.

One of my Vampire Night Blades could use use rapids while mounted until I assigned the extra CP Points but now she's screwed up too. So maybe that has something to do with it... maybe. lol

Oddly enough, My Werewolf Night blade can use rapids while mounted most of the time (still causes a dismount on occasion) but switching weapons still causes a dismount all the time. All 750 CP points are assigned... so much for that idea.

Weapon swaps dismount again. I remember running into this on live awhile back, but here it is, returned from wherever it wandered off to.

Yep. It’s actually worse for me now versus pre-patch. Before, I could stay on my bow bar and cast rapids no problem, now it dismounts me. Every time.

I find it interesting how we are told ZOS prefers we report bugs via the in-game reporting system yet after I used the in-game system to report this issue last Monday - the very first day of Summerset PTS testing - the issue was still not fixed this week and it was only acknowledged after a second thread on the problem was created on the forums.

Could you consider this in a way in you internal operations. Maybe pass some of the the bug reports, which are not as critical for a developer but maybe to the audience, to someone who has experience with community management, gameplay decisions or something (because it is an important thing, which affect lots of players directly). Otherwise the bug reports will decline and more and more people will stop giving feedback at the PTS (what is already happening, if you ask me).
